Floor Plan offers a scaled-down version, capturing highly accurate 2D dimensioning data of a given property quickly and effectively, albeit in MS Word MetaFile (.wmf) format. It is these plans that are then enriched with 3D dimensioning data and drafted in CAD (.dwg) format to produce As Is Drawings. Any prior cost of ‘Floor Plan’ is deducted from 'As Is Drawings'. Until you are committed to applying for planning permission, and unless you need heights and elevations for the purposes of carrying out feasibility studies, you may wish to consider ‘Floor Plan’ as a quicker and cheaper alternative.
Envision (which includes ‘Floor Plan’ as standard), provides the onsite, one-on-one design development and advice designed to equip new owners with outline proposed plans. These, together with As Is Drawings, complete the material required for a third party architect to develop a full set of proposed drawings. Please note that we have relationships with French-registered local architects who will take such material to work up drawings for Permis de Construire applications, although photos of the property, situational maps and extracts from the Plan Cadastral are required to complete the Permis de Construire Dossier. We will be happy to obtain these on your behalf if required.
